Studying in Granada

The School of Art has a privileged surrounding: the city of Granada. Granada, at the foot of Sierra Nevada, located in eastern Andalusia, southern Spain, has one of the biggest cultural heritages in the country. Granada has also the world famous Alhambra and Albaicin, designated a World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. The city boasts a Renaissance cathedral and many other monuments that dot the city in each of its corners. Granada is the city of Lorca, a city "Open all year." No matter the chosen date to visit, there are always activities to enjoy. No exaggeration to say that one of the adjectives that best define Granada is "Student City", which makes it an always awake city. It is one of the most preferred destinations to study Spanish. The character of Granada people is outgoing and friendly.

  • The art school of Granada is a public artistic learning center which depends on “Junta de Andalucía”. It counts with a long history of more than 150 years and with more than 400 students.
